As the popular portal Gizmochina reports, the Chinese company Xiaomi has introduced the new mini printer called Mijia Pocket Photo Printer 1S , designed to print photos from smartphones and other compact mobile devices. The device is already available in China for 399 yuan (about $60), and the ZINK photo paper costs 99 yuan ($15) for 50 sheets. The comparatively high price of the paper is explained by the fact that the printer does not use ink, but heats the color crystals embedded in the paper in the required order and quantity to create a specific image.
With the Mijia Pocket Photo Printer 1S, users can not only print photos , but also choose a specific style, edit them or add watermarks. In addition, photos can be linked to videos and audios in the Mi Home application by using the "AR video photo" function. The mini printer will not only be available in China - it will also come to the international market, albeit with a slight delay and at a higher price.
