Note Do not immerse the device in water! If too much limescale has built up on the heating plate, normal household vinegar can be used to remove the limescale. Dilute the vinegar with water (add 1 part vinegar to 10 parts water). Pour the solution onto the heating plate. Leave it to work for about 30 minutes. Then pour off the liquid. Wipe the heating plate with a clean, damp towel.
