With the AEOTEC Nano Switch you can connect different switchable electrical systems without dimming (e.g. ceiling lights, sockets) to a Z-Wave network. This makes it possible to switch the connected consumer wirelessly via Z-Wave and locally via an existing wall switch.
The compact radio module (60% smaller than its predecessor Micro Smart Switch) fits in a wall box directly behind an existing traditional switch and converts standard electrical systems into Z-Wave-based smart radio systems. The existing switch no longer switches the consumer directly, but only sends another control signal to the AEOTEC module, which in turn controls the consumer. This process takes place via a local switch or by radio. The AEOTEC module works with circuit breakers of any series and design, as long as there is enough space in the installation box. For large glasses with a depth of 65 mm, this should happen regularly. In the case of smaller boxes (e.g. 45 mm), the application depends on the required depth of the conventional switch and the space that may still be available in the box.
