The smart actuator enables versatile control of lighting as well as electric shading systems such as roller shutters, blinds, or awnings. The desired function can be individually defined during installation.
For shading systems, the actuator ensures precise control of the drives and moves roller shutters, blinds, or awnings exactly to the desired height and tilt position. This allows for convenient adjustment of the amount of light entering the room.
In addition, up to two conventional, non-smart lights can be intelligently controlled and integrated into automations or scenarios. This makes existing lighting easily part of the smart home.
Installation is flexible and can be done behind existing switches, in junction boxes, or, using suitable weatherproof enclosures, even outdoors. A minimum depth of 50 mm is required for flush mounting, but 60 mm is recommended for easier installation.
For integration into the Bosch Smart Home System, a Bosch Smart Home Controller or Bosch Smart Home Controller II is required.
