60 YEARS OF FAMILY BUSINESS HISTORY

Brothers Ricardo and Juan Piqueras Fernández founded Piher in 1957 in Logroño, where it remains after more than 60 years. Before that, they had worked as teachers at the nearby Agoncillo military airport, straight after graduating in mechanical engineering. Piher initially began manufacturing mechanical lathes, but quickly specialized in the manufacture of clamping tools. The Piqueras brothers introduced and patented the basic piston clamping system in Spain. Since then, they have dedicated themselves to developing design improvements and developing exclusive designs.
