The SONOFF SNZB-06P is a smart presence sensor with 5.8 GHz radar technology for reliable detection of both movement and stationary individuals. The lighting can be automatically switched on as soon as a person is detected and remains activated as long as someone is in the room.
An integrated light sensor enables demand-based lighting control. The light is only switched on when both darkness and presence are detected. This prevents unnecessary switching on when there is sufficient ambient light and reduces energy consumption.
The detection sensitivity can be individually adjusted. Depending on the setting, the range is 2.5 m at low sensitivity, 3.5 m at medium sensitivity, and 4 m at high sensitivity. Thanks to Zigbee 3.0, the sensor can be easily connected to compatible Zigbee hubs such as the SONOFF NSPanel Pro, SONOFF iHost, or Amazon Echo Plus.
The SNZB-06P enables local control and automation even without an internet connection. Scenes between SONOFF Zigbee devices can be executed locally. Since the sensor operates without a camera, no image capture is required, thus preserving privacy during presence detection.
The sensor can be integrated into existing smart home systems and supports, among others, Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings, IFTTT and Home Assistant.
