Motorize your shutter by following each step

Somfy provides detailed instructions and an installation video to watch before you start installing your motorized shaft.

The first step is to dismantle the crank shaft located in your box. Roll over the thumbnails below to understand how to install an MS kit.

Adjust the telescopic tube

The telescopic tube makes it easy to adapt to your shutter. Adjust it to the right width and it's ready to be mounted on your system.

For shutters wider than 170 cm, you'll need our tube extension (ref. 2400456) to motorize shutters up to 240 cm wide.

Reassemble the motorized shaft

Thanks to the universal motor bracket supplied in the kit, you can mount your new motorized shaft in the original box.

The other accessories in the kit will enable you to attach the shutter curtain to the newly installed shaft.

Adjust your motor quickly

Once the motorized shaft has been installed in your shutter, simply press the push-buttons on the motor head to set the limit switches.
