- The interface enables the integration of Wiegand-equipped devices such as combination locks, fingerprint sensors or card/transponder readers into the Homematic IP Smart Home system.
- It has eight virtual input channels, each of which can be individually linked with Wiegand codes. These codes, together with other Homematic IP devices, control lighting, garage doors, or alarm systems.
- Each connector has an input for connecting a doorbell button and a tamper switch. An LED or a doorbell can be connected via a switching output.
- Thanks to its compact design, the Wiegand interface fits into all standard flush-mounted boxes.
