Towel warmers are special devices for quickly drying towels and other textiles in the bathroom. They are suitable for use in situations where the heating in the house is turned off and you need to quickly dry wet towels after a shower or bath. Installing a heated towel rail in the bathroom eliminates the need to carry towels to the balcony or other place to dry.
Almost all heated towel rails have a curved metal structure with multiple bars. This allows you to hang multiple towels at the same time and ensure even drying.
Most heated towel rails are made of stainless steel, which makes them resistant to moisture and ensures a long service life. The design of these devices is usually standardized and includes the color white, although black or metallic options can sometimes also be found.
There are two main types of heated towel rails:
1. Water heated towel rails connected to hot water or a heating system. They resemble a bent pipe and can only work when hot water is available or during the heating season.
2. Electrically heated towel rails that are connected to the mains and have heating elements. They heat up faster and can be used at any time, regardless of the availability of hot water.
Modern towel warmers are often equipped with thermostats that allow you to maintain the optimal temperature. Some models have additional features such as shelves or side ports, making them more versatile and functional.
