The SHELLY 1 V3 single channel WI-FI relay is a smart switch that allows remote control of electrical appliances via cell phone, tablet, PC or home automation system. It can operate standalone on a local Wi-Fi network or it can be controlled via cloud-based home automation services.
The Shelly 1 can be accessed, monitored remotely from anywhere the User has an internet connection, as long as the unit is connected to a Wi-Fi router and the internet.
It can be mounted in standard wall-mounted electrical boxes, behind outlets and light switches, or other locations with limited space.
The Shelly 1 has a built-in web interface that can be used to monitor and control the unit as well as customize it.

The Shelly 1 single channel relay can be used for both remote control of outlets and lighting. The advantage is that lighting can be controlled both remotely (from an app on your phone) and with a familiar switch. The supply voltage range of the device is very wide, from 110V to 240V AC or 24-60V DC.  When installing, keep in mind that the device's relay is rated for a maximum of 16A. Install the Shelly proprietary app on your smartphone, this will allow you to control Shelly devices from anywhere in the world where you have access to a network.
