How to use the IDE/SATA to USB converter.3 correctly

1. Securely connect 2.5/3.5 inch IDE/SATA hard drives to the corresponding port on the adapter;
2. Connect the hard drive adapter to the computer via the attached USB 3.0 cable. And connect the 12V 2A power adapter to the power supply for power supply. And for 3.5 inch IDE drives, the 4-pin power cable also needs to be connected;
3. Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the adapter;
4. In Disk Management (or Device Manager), check whether the connected SSD/HHD drives are recognized by the computer. If the hard drives are not partitioned yet, partition them before using them. Otherwise, the computer will not recognize them and will not appear in Disk Management.
5. If your hard drives boot up but don't show up in Disk Management, try formatting and repartitioning them. Your partitioning method may not be supported by this adapter.
6. If your hard drives capacity is not fully recognized, please try to use a 12V 3A power adapter to power the enclosure instead of your original 12V 2A power adapter. And if your hard drive is more than 2TB, try to format it and use GPT (GUID Partition Table) to partition.
