The smart relay expands existing electrical installations with flexible control and automation functions. Numerous electrical applications can be intelligently switched via the potential-free contact, including garage doors, irrigation systems, ventilation systems, pumps, sockets, and lighting solutions.
In addition to its switching function, the relay also serves to extend the wireless range within the smart home system. This allows devices in more distant areas such as basements, garages, or outbuildings to be reliably connected to the controller.
The system can be operated in various ways. Connected devices can be controlled directly via existing switches or buttons, or alternatively via app, voice command, timer program, or automated routine. Common voice control systems are supported for particularly convenient everyday use.
For maximum flexibility, two operating modes are available. In on/off mode, the relay functions like a conventional switch and is suitable, for example, for lighting, ventilation systems, sockets, or pumps. In impulse mode, the device generates a short switching pulse and is therefore ideal for applications such as garage door openers or systems with pulse relays.
Thanks to its compact design, the relay can be installed invisibly behind existing switches or push buttons. Installation in junction boxes is also possible. In combination with weatherproof housings, the device is also suitable for outdoor use. A compatible controller is required for integration into a smart home system.
